Get Help
Asking for help here is normal. We're glad you did.
Whether you need dinner this week, hygiene supplies for your keiki, or help paying for school — start with one form and we'll take it from there.
Start Here
Request support from COTA Foundation
The form takes just a few minutes. Everything you share stays private and is used only to connect you with support. If you'd rather talk to someone first, text our info line at (772) 212-0788.
How it works
Three steps, and no hoops in between
We keep the process short on purpose. Hard weeks are hard enough without paperwork.
Step 1
Fill out one form
One short form covers everything — meals, clothing, hygiene supplies, household essentials, and scholarship support. You do not need documents, a referral, or a long explanation.
Step 2
We reach out
A real person from COTA Foundation contacts you to talk it through. It's a conversation, not an interview — we just want to understand what would actually help right now.
Step 3
We connect you to the right program
We match you to the program that fits — the Community Essentials Program, the Scholarship & Family Support Fund, or a partner organization better suited to your situation.
What we can help with
- Hot meals through our weekly distribution and mobile outreach.
- Clothing for adults and keiki, including school and work clothes.
- Hygiene kits — soap, toothbrushes, shampoo, feminine products, diapers.
- Household essentials such as cleaning supplies and basic home goods.
- Scholarships, school supplies, and tuition or certification assistance for students, graduates, and adults in workforce training.
What to expect from us
- No judgment about how you got here and no lecture attached to help.
- No requirement to attend a service or share your beliefs to receive support.
- Your information kept private and shared only with your permission.
- An honest answer. If we can't meet a need, we'll say so and point you toward someone on Hawaiʻi Island who can.
